Regionally, the family-owned company receives strong support from the U.K. and India groups on the procurement of imported materials, plant, machinery, and construction equipment. Over the years, Laxmanbhai Construction has enjoyed steady growth to the current capacity of handling projects up to Kshs. 5 Billion.

Plant, Machinery & Equipment

Our commitment to innovation remains at the core of our business model, with high investment in a fleet of sophisticated plant and modern equipment, including Earthworks, Concrete, Finishing to Construction Aiding equipment.

Concrete pumps, concrete batching plants, earth-moving scraper fleets, trucks, excavators, tower cranes to mobile cranes, and slip-form equipment, welding machines, hydraulic breakers, air compressors, and generators allow us to offer tailored and continuous on-site service countrywide.

The Warehouse facility, spanning 5 hectares, is used as a parking yard for our heavy equipment, storing various stocks of construction materials and also consists of a state-of-the-art joinery and steel fabrication workshop equipped with up-to-date machines and equipment. We gain a competitive edge with smooth workflow, reduced supply costs, assured material availability, and a centralized material stock, which are all key elements for optimal efficiency in successful project performance and completion.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Laxmanbhai Construction Ltd. is committed to reducing the impact of its activities on the Environment and assisting our Customers by encouraging them to use sustainable resources.

To this end the Organization has implemented an Environmental Management System to continuously improve its Environmental performance.

In order to meet this commitment, the Organization will pursue the following objectives:

  • To ensure compliance with all applicable Environmental legislation and regulations.
  • To reduce emissions and prevent Pollution.
  • To improve Waste Management Practices.
  • To reduce consumption of natural resources.
  • To minimize noise and other nuisances.
  • To assist in the Management of Ecology.
  • To continuously assess its Environmental performance.
  • To assist in the investigation of Environmental Incidents in which it is involved on operational Sites.
  • To make it’s Environmental information available to interested Parties.

The necessary Personnel and Financial resources will be allocated to assist the Organization in meeting its Environmental objectives and targets that will be reviewed as appropriate. In addition, the Organization will continue to raise the levels of Environmental awareness throughout its workforce and to promote this awareness to its Customers and Suppliers.

The Organization is committed to operating it’s Environmental Management System in a manner that attains and sustains compliance to the international Environmental Management Standard ISO 14001.

OH&S Policy

We have established this OH&S Policy to be consistent with the purpose and context of our Organisation. It provides a framework for the setting and review of objectives in addition to our commitment to satisfy applicable regulatory, legislative and other requirements as well as our commitment to continually improve our Management System.

We are committed to:

  • Providing safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health appropriate to the nature of our OH&S risks to which workers and others are exposed;
  • Provide a framework for setting our OH&S objectives;
  • Fulfilling our legal and other requirements; E
  • liminating hazards and reducing OH&S risks;
  • Continual improvement of the OH&S Management System;
  • Consulting and participating with Workers, and, where they exist, Workers’ Representatives on OH&S issues.

The Policy also takes account of:

  • The current OH&S circumstances of the Organisation and what the Organisation wants to achieve;
  • Broader business objectives;
  • Opportunities for improving the Health and Safety of Workers.

The OH&S Policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure that it remains relevant and appropriate to the Organisation.

This Policy is communicated to all interested parties as well as being made available to the wider community through publication on our Website, Company Noticeboard.

We established this quality Policy to be consistent with the purpose and context of our Organization.
