Project Outcome

The Nairobi Kenya Temple is the first temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints built in East Africa, officially dedicated on May 18, 2025. Spread across 3.45 acres, the Temple architecture is Portuguese Moleanos limestone exterior with design elements inspired by the African lily and Kenyan savanna. The structure features two instruction rooms, two sealing rooms, and one baptistry.
